Event Scan

In 2019 leading events management company Event Connections needed an app to help improve their offering to exhibitors. Event Scan integrates with their API and offers two functions; Exhibitor Mode facilitates lead generation by allowing users to scan badges to record warm leads, while Door Entry Mode records and authorises entry into restricted events.

The API behind the app was developed internally by Event Connection. The app was built using React Native and features QR Scanning, background Data fetching and a bespoke authorisation flow.
